This particular specimen is most likely a Mopane Moth, native to parts of southern Africa. Known for its impressive size and camouflage abilities, it evokes both strength and softness.

We only use butterflies and moths that have been found dead—never harmed. This particular moth is from the Eastern Cape, found dead.
